Backdoor Roth IRA

A strategy allowing high-income earners who exceed Roth IRA income limits to contribute to a Roth by making non-deductible contributions to a traditional IRA and immediately converting to a Roth. The pro-rata rule may complicate this if the taxpayer holds other traditional IRA balances.
