Critical Race Theory

A scholarly framework originating in legal academia that examines how laws, institutions, and social structures perpetuate racial inequality even in the absence of overtly racist intent. CRT emphasizes that racism is systemic rather than merely individual, and that ostensibly neutral legal principles can produce racially disparate outcomes.
