Geolocation
Determining a device's physical location, typically using GPS, WiFi, or cell tower triangulation — browsers provide this via the Geolocation API. In open-source intelligence (OSINT) work, geolocation instead means determining the precise physical location where an image or video was captured by cross-referencing visible terrain, buildings, signage, and other fixed features against maps or satellite imagery, typically requiring multiple independent corroborating features rather than one.
