Standing
A constitutional requirement that a party bringing a lawsuit must demonstrate a concrete and particularized injury, fairly traceable to the defendant's conduct, that is likely to be redressed by a favorable judicial decision. Standing doctrine limits access to courts and shapes which grievances receive judicial attention.
