Viewfinder
The optical or electronic interface through which a photographer views the scene to compose and focus. Optical viewfinders (OVF) show the actual light path through the lens, while electronic viewfinders (EVF) display a digital preview with exposure simulation. Pressing your eye to the viewfinder also stabilizes the camera.
