Bhakti

The path of loving, devotional surrender to a personal form of the divine, one of Hindu tradition's three major textually sanctioned paths (yogas) to moksha alongside karma-yoga and jnana-yoga. Bhakti movements, centered on deities such as Vishnu and Shiva, have historically drawn the largest number of ordinary lay adherents into accessible religious practice.
