Limits to arbitrage

Constraints preventing rational traders from correcting market mispricings. These include: limited capital, career risk (being fired before the market corrects), borrowing costs for short selling, and noise trader risk (irrational investors pushing prices further from value). These limits explain why bubbles can persist despite smart money knowing prices are wrong.
