Revulsion
The phase after a bubble's collapse when even fairly valued assets are rejected by traumatized investors. Following the 2008 crisis, many Americans avoided stocks for years, missing the subsequent recovery. Revulsion represents the opposite extreme from euphoria, driven by the same emotional rather than rational thinking.
