Firehose of falsehood

A propaganda model, formalized by RAND Corporation researchers Christopher Paul and Miriam Matthews (2016), characterized by high-volume, multichannel, rapid, and consistency-indifferent messaging aimed at producing doubt and exhaustion in an audience rather than belief in any single narrative — a strategy contrasted with older persuasion-based propaganda, which depends on one coherent, internally consistent story.
