A solution that people converge on in the absence of communication, not because it is objectively best but because it is prominent, salient, or conventional enough that each player can reasonably expect the other to expect them to choose it. Thomas Schelling's classic example: strangers asked to meet in New York City with no way to communicate overwhelmingly converge on the information booth at Grand Central Terminal at noon.
