Sant-Sipahi

The Sikh 'saint-soldier' ideal articulated under Guru Gobind Singh: the soldier is legitimate only as an expression of the saint, with devotion, discipline, and service primary and resort to arms lawful only when all other means have failed, per the last-resort principle of the Zafarnama.
