Cooperation (Game Theory)
In a Prisoner's Dilemma or similar structure, the choice that, if made by all players, produces the best joint outcome — but that individually rational play, absent repetition or an external enforcer, cannot reliably reach. This course treats cooperation, not competition, as the central puzzle: the deepest results in the field explain how cooperation survives among self-interested players rather than how to defeat them.
